Operations Manager – Electrical Construction – Utah, US
Gryphon Oakwood are currently supporting a confidential search on behalf of a leading electrical contractor delivering large-scale commercial and light industrial projects across the United States.
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee operations on major projects in Utah , ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery. This role sits within a strong pipeline of secured work extending into 2027/2028, offering long-term stability and progression.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing large electrical construction operations and leading sizeable field teams in fast-paced project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day electrical construction operations on a major project
- Manage large onsite workforce and subcontractors
- Drive safety, productivity, quality, and schedule performance
- Coordinate closely with project management, engineering, and field leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and client requirements
- Monitor progress, resolve operational issues, and maintain delivery targets
- Support planning and mobilisation of future projects within the region
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior operations or field leadership role
- Strong background in electrical construction (commercial or light industrial)
- Experience managing large onsite crews and subcontractors
- Strong operational planning and execution capability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-volume project environments
