Decision Support Analyst, Sr

Job Duties & Responsibilities Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly processing of Strata data from source systems and yearly tables, including ad‑hoc loads. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of daily patient data imported into the Decision Support System (DSS). Validate and manipulate source system information so extracted data for Strata is meaningful. Develop and maintain product lines and other hierarchical setups. Participate in system upgrades and ensure smooth transition. Load and audit monthly payroll and general ledger information, validating system‑generated calculations. Set up and process yearly cost centers to ensure consistent data flow. Develop annual cost standard review process and work with department managers to maintain accurate cost‑per‑unit values for each patient chargeable product. Identify differences between actual results and budgeted units of service, monitoring significant trend changes. Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses for departments and Financial Council meetings as scheduled. Meet with leaders and customers to understand scope, essential details, and required timeframe of special project requests. Utilize Strata decision support system and other sources to assimilate, analyze data, and present results to management with proposed outcomes. Adjust analysis and presentation of special projects as required. Assist in analysis and interpretation of data used throughout TCH. Skills & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. 5 years’ experience in decision support and/or cost accounting in a health‑related organization.
