Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour Job Schedule: Day/Time: Mon 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sat 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and report security‑related concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site contacts. Support hospital and clinic operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and assisting with security‑related requests in a courteous and professional manner. Minimum Requirements: Must meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue. Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
