Pension Contracts Support Analyst

Job Summary Position: Pension Contracts Support Analyst (Analyst I/II) in the Pension Contracts and Prefunding Programs Division (PCPP), Pension Contracts Unit of the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS). Permanent, full‑time, with a hybrid work schedule (up to two remote days per week). Salary range: $3,861.00 – $6,276.00 per month. Number of positions: 2. Closing date: 7/9/2026. Responsibilities Create and amend contracts and related documents for CalPERS contracting public agencies. Working Conditions Travel by automobile and/or airplane may be required; overnight stays possible. Minimum Requirements Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications listed in the Classification Specification for the Analyst I/II positions. All required experience, education, and training must be documented in the application. Evaluations of foreign degrees and transcripts may be required. Desirable Qualifications Experience interpreting laws and applicable authorities, drawing conclusions and conveying ideas. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Knowledge of PERL or related laws and regulations. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team. Telework Information This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule: up to two days of remote work and at least three days onsite per week.
