About Us Educational Justice (EJ) is a nonprofit in Louisville, KY, dedicated to tackling educational inequity. We connect low-income middle school students with high-achieving high school tutors for free, one-on-one mentorship and academic support. Our mission is to create opportunities for young students who may not otherwise have access to vital educational resources. Position Overview Outreach & Community Recruitment VISTA – a community-minded, relationship-builder excited about actively engaging in outreach across Louisville. As the Outreach & Community Recruitment VISTA, you’ll be the face of EJ in the community, connecting with schools, nonprofits, and community groups to recruit both tutors (Activists) and tutees (Scholars). You will develop and maintain partnerships that enhance visibility and engagement, plan events, oversee clubs, and design strategies to grow our program’s reach and impact.
