Catering & Private Events Coordinator - Makers Union at Mosaic District (New Store Opening)

As the Catering & Private Events Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating and executing memorable events, as well as creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our patrons. With our craveable food, destination drinks, and diverse menu, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and passion for our offerings. Responsibilities Manage and follow up on event leads. Coordinate and execute events. Manage banquet equipment. Assist the Director of Catering & Private Events as needed. Serve and wait on tables when no events are taking place. Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Present menus, make recommendations, and take orders accurately. Deliver food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and quality. Provide attentive and personalized service to enhance the guest experience. Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or special requests. Handle payment transactions and maintain a tidy and organized work area. Qualifications Experience as a server in a fine dining experience. A great attitude and work ethic. Must be 21 or older to handle alcoholic beverages. Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk continuously for extended periods during shifts Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and twisting Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies weighing up to 25-35 pounds Manual dexterity to handle glassware, plates, and service tools safely Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Tolerance for exposure to heat, noise, and crowded spaces Ability to navigate dining areas quickly and safely Strong balance and coordination while carrying food and beverages Who We Are: Makers Union was created with inclusiveness at its core, reimagining the modern pub experience.
