Shipping Dock Lead

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shipping Dock Lead to oversee daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, extensive sit-down forklift experience, and a solid background in shipping and warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and on-time shipments while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities Lead, train, and support shipping dock personnel Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and proper handling Monitor shipping schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment Assist with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations Maintain accurate documentation and shipping records Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, and management Help identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of shipping dock and warehouse experience Strong sit-down forklift experience required Shipping and receiving experience required Leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed Bilingual Spanish is a plus Must be able to communicate effectively in English Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $20 - $25 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
