HW Engineering Manager, Leo Hardware Development

The successful candidate will be responsible to lead the design, implementation and validation of complex space grade hardware electronics targeted to payload antenna systems. As a leader, you will manage, develop and grow your team to deliver results and collaborate with cross functional teams in the organization. You have a good mix of interpersonal skills expected from a manager and technical acumen expected from an engineer. Your ownership and contributions will include:1. Lead the team developing the hardware for advanced antenna systems in space applicationExport Control Requirement:Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Basic qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field- 7+ years of industrial experience especially in board level analog/digital design with large ASIC’s- 3+ years of experience in a technical leading role and a management position- 5+ years of experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal and power integrity- 5+ years of experience using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters- Experience with advanced CAD toolsPreferred qualification - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field- Experience with developing hardware for space applications- Experience with the entire NPI process- Familiarity with analog electronic fundamentals (transistor circuits, op-amps, filters, etc)- Experience in design, implementation, bring up and debugging of HW from prototypes to manufacturing- Familiarity with power supply designAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
