Underwriter Assistant

Bridge Specialty is seeking an Underwriting Assistant in Boulder, Colorado to join our growing team. Responsibilities Obtain all required information and complete proper applications. Confirm quotes and binders in writing; issue policies promptly and accurately. Make state filings (where applicable) and pay required taxes. Provide full assistance to the sales and production process, including new business quotes. Issue renewals and written binders. Review risks submitted by Producers and rate submissions for premium and terms. Review indications, quotes, binders, submissions and policies for completeness and accuracy. Become familiar with agency management software systems and suggest labor‑saving uses. Order and review inspections; verify inspection information against policy. Issue Certificates of Insurance. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Exceptional telephone demeanor. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. One (1) to two (2) years of related experience.
