Award-winning care and a welcoming, family-like atmosphere Stable team with long-standing nursing and leadership staff Clean, organized work environment with the tools you need to succeed Supportive leadership and strong teamwork Opportunity to make a meaningful impact through staff education and infection prevention Beautiful 60-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center Responsibilities As our Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Control RN , you will: Provide orientation and clinical training for new employees Conduct monthly live training sessions and hands-on skills fairs Track staff training, competencies, and regulatory requirements in Relias Perform competency evaluations and identify individual staff education needs Lead and support our Mentor Program Administer the center’s Infection Prevention and Control Program Monitor, investigate, and report infections and communicable diseases Educate staff on infection prevention and control practices Help maintain compliance with state and federal requirements Qualifications ASN or higher in Nursing required Active, unrestricted NC RN license required 2+ years of nursing experience required Long-term care/SNF experience or clinical education/staff development experience strongly preferred CDC IPCO certification required or willingness to obtain within 5 days of employment About Zebulon Rehabilitation Center Located at 509 W Gannon Ave, Zebulon, NC 27597 , Zebulon Rehabilitation Center is a 60-bed skilled nursing center offering long-term residential care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialty services. Our center features private and semi-private rooms, landscaped grounds, 7-day admissions, a rehabilitation gym, and therapy services available up to 7 days a week.
