This is a boutique consulting firm focused on municipal government. We are sourcing a

hands-on project manager who can also lead staff communications, training, and adoption for an anticipated

municipal project assignment. The municipality needs to understand whether Caselle remains the right ERP and

make useful improvements to its current processes while that decision is being made.

Job Description :

Run the day-to-day assignment. Maintain the schedule, hours forecast, decisions, and issues; prepare short

progress updates; and lead project meetings every other week. Raise missed decisions and resource conflicts

early, with a practical way forward.

Organize interviews with approximately 15 participants across six departments. Walk through actual

transactions with staff, document approvals and handoffs, and identify duplicate entry, spreadsheet

workarounds, reporting gaps, and unclear responsibilities.

Turn those findings into process maps and prioritized requirements. Confirm the findings with department

owners and coordinate the Caselle assessment and review of three alternative systems with the finance

specialist and ERP advisor.

Explain how approved improvements affect each staff group. Plan communications and role-based training,

write usable procedures and job aids, and help employees practice the revised work using representative

transactions.

Coordinate improvement work with Caselle and authorized municipal staff after written approval. Organize

user testing, track problems through resolution, arrange training, and document acceptance and the

handover of ongoing responsibilities.

Keep the final report and recommendations consistent with what staff actually found. Help the municipality

understand the work, staffing, and training involved in keeping, improving, or replacing its ERP. This

assignment does not include implementing a replacement ERP.

What you bring

Experience managing municipal ERP or finance process assignments through discovery, recommendations,

testing, and staff training. You should be comfortable working with Finance, HR, IT, department managers,

and frontline users.

Strong interviewing, process mapping, workshop facilitation, and business writing skills. You can explain a

problem plainly, distinguish a software issue from a process issue, and follow up without creating unnecessary

meetings.

Practical change-management experience is required. PMP, Prosci, Lean Six Sigma, or comparable credentials

are helpful, but successful delivery matters more than a particular certification. Caselle familiarity is useful;

the finance specialist leads the detailed system review
