Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration accurately in the charting system.
- Monitor residents’ health status, perform ongoing assessments, and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse and medical team.
- Perform basic clinical procedures within scope, including vital signs, wound care, dressing changes, and injections as allowed.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, promote safety, mobility, and fall prevention, and support resident dignity and comfort.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in electronic medical records and participate in care planning and interdisciplinary communication.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and current eligibility to practice as an LPN.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a 3x12 schedule.
- Local candidates only.
