DEAL BREAKERS This in an in-office position only (not a remote position) Must live within a reliable commuting distance to Helios Integrated Medicine in Boulder, CO Must have a minimum of 1 year medical front desk experience Must pass a background check and drug screenDuties and ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and visitors and assist them with questions or concernsAnswer phones, schedule appointments, and collect patient informationPerform patient registration and verify insurance informationProcess billing, payments, and other financial transactionsMaintain and update patient recordsVerifying test results are in before follow up visitsAssist with medical record filing and data entryCoordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operationsRespond to inquiries and requests from patients and staffAssist with special projects and other administrative tasksRequirements and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a medical office setting - minimum of 1 yearKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance billing proceduresProficient in Google Suite features (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Etc)Proficient in QuickBooksProficient in EHR/EMRExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational and multitasking skillsAttention to detail and accuracy with data entry
