Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day/Night Rotating Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM / 7:00 PM–7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/IMC unit with potential to float to progressive care and emergency department settings for the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations
• Participate in holiday rotation coverage as required by unit scheduling needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent clinical experience in Stepdown or IMC specialty; travel experience may be considered
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open licensing or background case hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care Unit experience
• 18 months of Stepdown experience obtained within a single facility location
