As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital Security in Avon, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post offers the opportunity to assist patients, visitors, and staff while supporting a respectful environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials as required, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
