Mixer Machine Operator | Mon - Fri | $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Shift: 2nd 3:00PM – 12:00AM (overtime likely)
A health-conscious consumer food production and packaging operation in Decatur, IL shipping to niche skin care retailers is looking for a Mixer Machine Operator
Job Requirements for Mixer Machine Operator
- Previous food grade manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous backing experience is a plus
- Previous batching or mixing experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to complete mandatory food safety and general safety training
Job Responsibilities for Mixer Machine Operator
- Inspecting and measuring ingredients
- Mixing product according to batch sheets
- Operating manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine tests to ensure specifications are met
- Keep production lines supplied with finished product
- Use pallet jacks
- Record and maintain production documentation
- Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures for cleaning and sanitation
