Must-Have Skills/Experience: Outpatient physical therapy experience

Description: Under the direction of a physician order, plans and implements specific physical therapy evaluation and treatment plan programs. The treatment is based on the patient's physical, developmental, and psychosocial needs. Provides advisory services to other team members to ensure quality patient care. Functions under the direct supervision of the Director and Assistant Director. Performs related duties as assigned. Graduate of an accredited B.S. degree program in Physical Therapy and has passed the national registration exam. Must have general knowledge of evaluation and treatment principles for a diverse number of diagnoses. Patient care may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing. Physical demands include pushing up to 40 lbs., pulling up to 60 lbs., gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs., kneeling, crouching, and crawling minimally. May occasionally work with office equipment, including copy machines, telephones, and computers. Must demonstrate competency in equipment used for the delivery of modalities.
