Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro Surgical Unit Schedule This is a night shift position, requiring a commitment to 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care for patients undergoing neuro surgical procedures and those with neuro diagnoses. This role entails working in a fast-paced environment, closely monitoring patient conditions, and utilizing critical thinking to deliver top-quality nursing care. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions, planning and implementing care as needed. Administer medications and manage IV therapy in accordance with protocols. Document all aspects of patient care using Epic system and ensure accurate patient records. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to confer on patient progress and care strategies. Float between different units as required, maintaining flexibility in assignments. Prepare and educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery processes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar nursing role, preferably in neuro or surgical units. Current BCLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred. Valid nursing license (NC or compact) and must be willing to float within the facility. Why ARMStaffing?
