Senior Accountant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our expanding team within the Nipro Renal Solutions division in Lewisberry, PA. This position will play a key role at our Lewisberry location and reports directly to the Finance Operations Manager in Miami, FL. This position will participate in all aspects of our financial reporting operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as GAAP and IFRS, and providing strategic financial guidance as needed. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analyzing financial data to support the organization's goals. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department. This is a full-time on-site role. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including journal entries, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Monitor and review key financial metrics, including conducting trend analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings to Financial Operations Finance Operations Manager and Corporate Finance Director. Coordinate and support external audits and regulatory compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and regulations applicable to the medical device industry. Enforce internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, assisting with cost analysis, budget variance explanations, and decision-making processes. Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards, including updates to GAAP and IFRS, and ensure regulatory compliance. Maintain abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends related to GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting principles, and provide guidance to stakeholders as needed. Perform and lead all other accounting functions within the location. Partake in ad hoc accounting or finance projects and analysis as assigned. Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and auditors to maintain accurate and transparent financial records. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree or 5-years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial accounting principles Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external colleagues and customers. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
