Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: PACU Job Type: Travel Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 40 Jobs Notes: Day shift 40 hours. This is a 10 hour position 4 days a week with call requirement. Need someone who can sedate and has experience in endo and PACU. Varied start times between 0545 and 0900. Total bed count: 3 OR's in out patient and 4 in the main but never use more than 5 because of anesthesia coverage between main OR and Pavilion (out patient OR) Staffing Ratios: Days: RN to follow the OR surgeons schedule starting as early as 0545 and starting as late as 10 am, some staff on 8's and others on 10's depending on what the job is Nights: call team Weekends: call team Schedule Requirements: Call required: yes, rotating call to cover every hour we are not here Float required: preop and PACU float between both buildings and both roles Weekend coverage: on call only Scheduling type: no set schedules follow the surgeon and needs of the department Medication system: Pyxis Documentation system: Cerner Surgi net Provider support: IV teams: no Lift teams: no Pharmacy: yes Phlebotomy: yes Transportation: no Unit secretary: no Provider coverage: intensivist: yes Hospitalist: yes
