Overview Registered Nurse - Oncology (Travel) Location: Ukiah, California, United States Employment Type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Start date: 08/17/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $2,006 to $2,135 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Shift: Day shift; 4 x 10-hour days; rotating schedule; typical hours 07:30–18:00 Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic within a short-term acute care hospital Key Highlights Weekly pay range: $2,006–$2,135 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days, rotating Start date: 08/17/2026 Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic within a short-term acute care hospital No on-call required Responsibilities Deliver direct nursing care to oncology outpatients using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer prescribed therapies and supportive care, monitor patient responses, manage symptoms and adverse effects, and document care accurately. Collect relevant patient data, develop individualized care plans, coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, social workers, and other members of the care team; provide patient and family education. Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures and assist with minor procedures as directed; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across levels; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure safe, high-quality care. Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance; ensure thorough and accurate charting. Requirements Active RN license in California (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor (Required) Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification (Required) ONCC-CHIM or equivalent oncology certification (Required) 2–3 years of recent oncology nursing experience (Required) BSN preferred; ability to work in an outpatient oncology clinic setting; strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Fast credentialing and onboarding Extension opportunities on assignment Dedicated support throughout the assignment Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
