Account Manager, AWM (Midwest Region) - Future Opportunities

At Smith+Ne&pp, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living. As an Account Manager within our Advanced Wound Management (AWM) team, you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes by partnering with healthcare providers to deliver a comprehensive portfolio of wound care solutions, including advanced wound dressings, biologics, and related technologies. What will you be doing? Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to achieve and exceed sales goals. Promote the full AWM portfolio, addressing a wide range of wound care needs across patient populations. Educate clinicians and healthcare staff on the clinical and economic value of Smith+Ne&pp solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers, including clinicians, nursing staff, and purchasing stakeholders. Identify new business opportunities and drive product adoption within existing and new accounts. Partner cross‑functionally with internal teams to support account growth and customer satisfaction. Deliver in‑services, product demonstrations, and educational programs to support best practices in wound care. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proven success in sales, preferably within medical device, healthcare, or a related field. Ability to navigate complex healthcare environments with multiple stakeholders and decision‑makers. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate clinical and economic value. Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence customer decision‑making. Experience managing a territory, pipeline, and sales planning process. High level of accountability, organization, and resilience. The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $75,000 – $110,000 USD annually. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity.
