Position Overview

We invite talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologists to become integral members of our expanding imaging team, dedicated to providing high-quality diagnostic services. Your daily responsibilities will include utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology to carry out diagnostic assessments, engaging with an encouraging group of healthcare professionals, and offering patients reassurance through precise and timely imaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinationsincluding those of the abdomen, obstetrics, gynecology, vascular studies, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each step of the process with empathy and understanding.
• Work in close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver superior diagnostic images.
• Operate ultrasound equipment responsibly and report any issues promptly to ensure seamless operations.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records within the electronic medical system.
• Keep abreast of the latest ultrasound techniques and industry standards to ensure optimal patient care.

Educational Qualifications

• A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field (Associate's or Bachelor's).
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is highly preferred.

Certifications Needed

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred.

Essential Skills

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques with a keen sense of patient positioning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
