Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A)The Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A) plays a vital role in supporting the nursing staff and implementing the comprehensive care plan for residents and patients. This includes assisting with various activities of daily living, education, recreation, and transportation, while adhering to established policies and procedures.Assist residents/patients with routine activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, ambulating, and skin care.Demonstrate effective listening skills to provide support for resident/patient needs.Take initial vital signs and provide weights to nursing staff in a timely manner.Report changes in vital signs or measurements promptly to the Supervisor/Charge Nurse.Follow procedures for Universal Precautions.Monitor and record resident/patient intake and output as per unit standards or physician orders.Maintain confidentiality of resident/patient-related issues and uphold resident/patient rights.Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members and maintain a productive working relationship.Provide care as directed by the RN/LPN and assist in orienting patients/residents and their families.Empathize with residents, patients, and families while remaining objective in difficult situations.Demonstrate flexibility and seek assistance in problem-solving when needed.Foster a passion for delivering excellent care to long-term care residents and skilled rehabilitation patients.Must hold an active Maine C.N.A License.Ability to provide compassionate and respectful care.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.Compassion: Show respect, caring, and sensitivity toward all individuals, honoring their dignity.Integrity: Promote justice and ethical behavior while responsibly managing resources.Collaboration: Work in partnership and dialogue to create healthy communities.Excellence: Deliver all services with the highest level of quality, seeking innovation in care.Applicants, employees, and former employees are protected from employment discrimination based on various factors including race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and genetic information.Client Details City Bangor State ME
