Human Resources GeneralistJob family: Human Resources Business area: Andritz Group Contract location: Muncy, PA, US Working location: Glens Falls, NY Location type: Office Location / Office-based Contract type: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are currently seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple locations across our Northeast and Midwest regions and play a key role in delivering high-impact HR support across the employee lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesEmployee Lifecycle & HR OperationsPrepare offer letters and conduct new hire onboardingSupport the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through terminationMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentationPartner with internal recruiters and staffing agenciesEmployee Relations & CompliancePartner with leaders on hiring, promotions, investigations, and disciplinary actionsSupport employee relations matters including complaints and policy guidanceEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsHR Programs & AdministrationAdminister HR policies, programs, and proceduresSupport benefits administration, FMLA/STD/LTD processesAssist with annual open enrollment and wellness initiativesCulture & EngagementSupport initiatives that promote a strong and positive employee cultureMaintain employee communication boards and engagement effortsContribute to programs aligned with the ANDRITZ #1Andritzway cultureQualificationsBachelor's degree2–4 years of HR or administrative experienceStrong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycleStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of discretion and confidentialityPreferred SkillsExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentExperience with payroll and HRIS systemsExposure to multi-site or regional HR supportTravelApproximately 10–20% travel across supported locationsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
