Experienced Registered Nurse needed for an inpatient Case Management role in Morristown, New Jersey. Join a dynamic acute care healthcare team focused on care coordination, discharge planning, utilization review, and safe patient transitions across the hospitalization process.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2030-$2190
• Location: Morristown, New Jersey
• Setting: Inpatient Case Management / Acute Care Hospital
• Start Date: 8/3/2026
• Duration: 13-week assignment
• Schedule: 5 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Hours: 37.5-40 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Rotating weekends every 4th or 5th; 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• BSN required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• 2 years of acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Inpatient Case Management experience required
• Experience with sub-acute patients required
• CCMC certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of case management, managed care, and utilization management processes

Case Management RN Responsibilities

• Coordinate patients throughout the acute care hospitalization process
• Manage discharge planning, care transitions, and post-acute referrals
• Perform utilization management and quality screenings
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Assess patient needs and help facilitate appropriate post-acute services and resources
• Support continuity of care for inpatient populations, including sub-acute patients
• Promote safe, timely, and effective patient care plans
