Traveling Mechanical & Electrical Assembler

$28 - $31 per hour

Job Description

FlexTrades is seeking experienced Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers for manufacturing projects across the United States. We are looking for skilled professionals with at least 5 years of consistent assembly experience in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace, automation, or heavy equipment environments.

All work is performed in clean, indoor production facilities.

Pay & Schedule

$28-$31 per hour
50+ hours per week
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
Strong weekly earning potential

Travel & Benefits

Company-paid travel to and from assignments
Company-provided lodging (private hotel room)
$45/day per diem
Comprehensive benefits package available
Spouses, family members, and pets are welcome during assignments

Position Details

Job Title: Traveling Mechanical & Electrical Assembler

Company: FlexTrades

This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, reading blueprints, assembling complex equipment, and traveling to support manufacturing projects nationwide.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to blueprints and work instructions
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and assembly documentation
Install and connect wiring, sensors, motors, control panels, and mechanical components
Perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and adjustment of equipment
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely and effectively
Troubleshoot assembly issues and make necessary adjustments
Maintain quality standards and meet production goals
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of consistent mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
Experience with hand and power tools
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience assembling machinery, automation equipment, industrial equipment, or production systems preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Comfortable working overtime and traveling for project-based assignments
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance available when needed
