We’re seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Accounts Receivable Specialist who is both meticulous and motivated—someone who enjoys the challenge of handling scale with precision while contributing to a meaningful mission.
What You’ll Do

• Own the full accounting cycle: accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Manage 10,000+ monthly transactions across multiple accounts and payment types.
• Oversee billing accuracy, fund reconciliation, and audit readiness—ensuring every dollar is accounted for.
• Collaborate across departments to support settlements, disbursements, and compliance with court directives.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with defendants, clients, and team members—balancing empathy with precision.
• Identify opportunities to streamline systems, automate workflows, and elevate accounting efficiency as we scale.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with Xero or other cloud-based accounting systems preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting best practices.
• Bookkeeping certification a plus.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills; able to work with detailed data quickly and accurately.
