Description Under supervision, responsible for basic supply ordering and replenishment, restocking clean linen and removal of soiled linen. Respond appropriately and timely to department special requests for supplies, linen and supply chain‑managed patient equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, syringe pumps, etc.). Deliver and distribute department special orders. Maintain order and cleanliness of storeroom and linen room. Employment Type Part time Education High school graduate or GED equivalent. Experience 6 months of experience in supply chain–related distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, linen, inventory control, or other comparable service line. Preferred Qualifications Hospital/health care experience in distribution or warehousing. License / Certification Valid driver's license preferred. Skills Proficient in written and verbal English. Knowledge and use of arithmetic, including fractions and decimals. Self‑motivated to organize and prioritize own work to ensure daily workload is completed; ability to react and perform under stress and emergency situations; exercise judgment in the work environment. Ability to use proper body mechanics to lift 50 lbs, push, pull, or otherwise move in a controlled manner; manage linen carts up to 500 lbs, utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment, up to 90 % of work time.
