Position Overview

Thazen, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our engineering team supporting the design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission-focused cloud-based applications and services.

This position will contribute across the full technology stack, including front-end applications, back-end services, data solutions, APIs, and cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary engineering environment and may provide technical leadership and coordination for other software engineers.

The position requires an active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to work full-time on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio .

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to full-stack software engineering activities throughout the complete software development lifecycle, including architecture and design, development, integration, testing, deployment, operations, sustainment, and maintenance.
\n
• Design, develop, and implement cloud-hosted microservices, APIs, data pipelines, and supporting services used for analytic and decision-support workflows.
\n
• Develop and integrate software capabilities spanning front-end, back-end, data, and cloud infrastructure components.
\n
• Evaluate, integrate, and support commercial and government software components and cloud services as part of custom software solutions.
\n
• Develop custom algorithms, analytic services, data products, dashboards, user interfaces, APIs, and supporting software capabilities.
\n
• Integrate analytic tools, applications, and software services into larger system and enterprise architectures.
\n
• Support the development and deployment of scalable, secure, and maintainable cloud-based and distributed applications.
\n
• Provide technical direction and engineering guidance to other members of the development team.
\n
• Coordinate engineering activities, technical tasks, and dependencies to support project milestones and delivery objectives throughout the software development lifecycle.
\n
• Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, cloud engineers, data professionals, and other technical stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline , along with relevant professional software engineering experience. Advanced education may substitute for a portion of the professional experience requirement.
\n
• Professional software development experience using Python, C, and/or C++ .
\n
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, deploying, operating, and maintaining software throughout the full software engineering lifecycle .
\n
• Experience integrating commercial software products or services into custom software solutions.
\n
• Experience developing cloud-based and/or distributed software applications .
\n
• Experience leading, mentoring, coordinating, or providing technical direction to other software engineers.
\n
• U.S. Citizenship required.
\n
• Active Top Secret U.S. Government security clearance required.
\n
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio .
\n
• Ability to support limited travel as required, approximately 10% .
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• Active SCI eligibility or SCI clearance .
\n
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field .
\n
• Experience designing and developing software within classified or other highly controlled technical environments .
\n
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or comparable cloud platforms .
\n
• Experience developing and supporting microservices architectures, serverless applications, containerized workloads, and managed cloud data services .
\n
• Web application development experience using technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Go .
\n
• Experience integrating Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS), Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS), or comparable third-party software into production or deliverable software products.
\n
• Experience working within Agile software development environments .
\n
• Experience with UML and/or SysML modeling tools and methodologies .
\n
• Experience with Git-based source control platforms and modern CI/CD pipelines and workflows .
\n
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and/or GitLab CI .
\n
