Banking Operations Deputy Executive

A regional bank is in search of a senior leader for operations to fill a role supporting executives. This position provides the chance to collaborate closely with senior leadership and offers a clear path to a future COO opportunity.The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing and expanding the fundamental operations of the bank, starting with a focus on loan and deposit activities, while also contributing to the broader operational strategy of the growing organization.Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations for loans and depositsCollaborate with senior leaders on strategic planning and implementationEnhance workflows, controls, and operational effectiveness across teamsSupervise core systems, vendor relationships, and system improvementsAnalyze key performance indicators, staffing structures, and profit driversWork with market leaders to synchronize operations with business objectivesDevelop and lead high-performing teams in a regulated environmentQualifications:Extensive background in banking operations and leadership experienceThorough understanding of lending and deposit processes and systemsPrevious experience in a community or regional banking environmentDemonstrated history of leading teams and promoting accountability at scaleAbility to balance strategy and execution in a dynamic environmentFamiliarity with core banking platforms such as FIS, Jack Henry, or CSIAnalytical mindset and experience utilizing data for decision-makingThis role is perfect for an operations leader looking to transition to executive leadership, with the chance to influence the future of a growing institution.Apply now to discover more about this confidential opportunity.
