Job Title: Sr Salesforce CPQ Developer

Location:  Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Payrate: $72.59/Hr on W2 (Without Benefits)

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business needs and define scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Architect, document, and implement technical solutions that effectively leverage the Salesforce platform and align with business objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring successful delivery of technical solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients and internal development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Convert business requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Provide accurate effort estimates covering all phases of implementation, from requirements gathering through deployment.
• Facilitate technical design workshops and create detailed solution architecture documentation.
• Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementation activities, including custom development, system integrations, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to development teams while resolving complex technical challenges.
• Design, execute, and oversee comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Demonstrate thought leadership by promoting best practices, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Apply advanced Apex development concepts, including design patterns, governor limits optimization, bulk processing, trigger frameworks, asynchronous processing, and unit testing methodologies.
• Follow modern software development practices such as Agile, iterative delivery, continuous integration, and frequent deployment cycles.
• Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable code that adheres to established coding standards and development best practices.
• Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, architectural consistency, and adherence to design principles.
• Configure and manage Salesforce CPQ components, including product catalogs, pricing rules, product rules, bundle configurations, approval processes, and quote templates.
• Support the transition from Salesforce CPQ to Logik.ai by participating in solution mapping, requirement analysis, system configuration, validation, and testing activities.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to deliver scalable quoting and pricing solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior developers and technical consultants to enhance team capabilities.
• Participate in technical interviews and candidate evaluation processes as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience with increasing technical responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements, design workflows, and implement effective technical solutions.
• Solid understanding of business process analysis, workflow optimization, and complex problem-solving techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing solutions on the Salesforce/Force.com platform.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in business process design, optimization, and enterprise system integration.
• Extensive experience developing with Visualforce, Apex Classes, Apex Controllers, and Apex Triggers.
• Experience building and consuming web services, including Salesforce APIs such as REST, SOAP, and Metadata APIs.
• Proven background in developing custom Salesforce applications and platform extensions.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Administration features, configuration, and security models.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as jQuery or similar front-end technologies.
• Knowledge of integration technologies, middleware platforms, ETL processes, and third-party Salesforce integration tools.
• Strong foundation in object-oriented design principles, database architecture, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration, pricing strategies, approval workflows, and quote generation.
• Experience with ServiceNow development or administration is highly desirable, particularly in support of the upcoming Logik.ai CPQ migration initiative.
• Familiarity with integrating CPQ platforms with ERP, billing, order management, and other downstream enterprise systems using REST and SOAP-based services.
