Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing flexibility and convenience for therapists and clients alike while also maintaining an engaged and collaborative team atmosphere. Therapists are expected to operate within our outpatient office framework, ensuring that every patient experience is rooted in a compassionate understanding of their unique circumstances. Our office operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet patient scheduling needs.

  • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify patients' unique experiences, challenges, and treatment needs.

  • Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored specifically to individual clients, considering their personal and cultural backgrounds.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on resilience-building and mental well-being in a safe, supportive setting.

  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care plans.

  • Provide immediate crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, aiding clients through challenging situations with calm and assurance.

  • Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Engage actively in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to foster continual learning and professional development.

  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in mental health therapy, as well as cultural considerations that impact therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Colorado.

  • A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies, with a strong commitment to cultural competence.

  • Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy that respects and incorporates clients' cultural contexts.
