This position combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, requiring you to provide hands-on training, supervision, and professional development to expand the capabilities of your facilities maintenance staff. You'll manage service requests, implement preventative maintenance programs, ensure equipment operates at peak condition, and maintain a safe workplace that complies with all departmental policies for hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way by fostering a culture where we support each other's wellbeing and champion inclusivity and belonging across teams, and you'll play a vital role in developing both technical excellence and team cohesion.**What your day-to-day will look like:*** Supervise and direct maintenance staff on shift, monitoring performance of assigned responsibilities while performing or directing all maintenance departmental service requests with minimal disruption and inconvenience* Implement and supervise the preventative maintenance program by scheduling maintenance with minimal disruption, delegating tasks to qualified staff, ordering parts and equipment required for repairs and installations, and maintaining inventory* Perform preventative maintenance and repair service work on HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and various building systems using hands-on skills and industry standard tools in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations* Check malfunctioning equipment and ascertain corrective action required to restore satisfactory operating condition while ensuring availability of adequate operating inventory of tools and supplies* Provide training and supervision to operations staff by demonstrating proper use and care of tools, giving hands-on instruction in maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, recommending outside engineering courses, and instilling professionalism in manner and appearance**Required qualifications:*** 5+ years of experience in facility/plant engineering maintenance with 5+ years of experience in supervision/leadership roles* 2+ years of trade schooling in electrical system design, refrigeration, and HVAC* Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems, welding, and electrical systems engineering and operation* Ability to analyze system operations, determine causes of problems, and take corrective action* Proficiency with computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite with skill in using the Internet to navigate web-based applications* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with physical ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, sit, kneel, squat, stand, reach, and work in various environmental conditions**Preferred qualifications:*** Stationary Engineer License* Universal EPA 608 CertificationThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
