Bay View Shade & Blind is looking for an experienced sales professional who knows how to build relationships, earn trust, and guide customers toward the right decision.

As an Executive Design Consultant, you'll meet with  qualified homeowners who have already expressed interest in our products. There is no cold calling or buying your own leads.

You'll use your sales and relationship-building skills to understand what the customer wants, design a solution that fits their home and needs, and guide them through the buying process.

And you'll have a team behind you. Our Operations, Production, Installation, and Leadership teams work together to make sure the experience doesn't end when you close the sale.

What You'll Do

• Meet with qualified homeowners in their homes to understand their needs, preferences, and goals
• Build trust and develop long-term customer relationships
• Design and recommend custom window treatment solutions
• Conduct accurate measurements and develop detailed project scopes
• Use an IPad/Smart tech during appointments to document measurements, project details, customer preferences, and product specifications
• Present solutions and confidently guide customers through the decision-making process
• Manage your sales pipeline and appointments independently
• Partner with our Operations and Installation teams to ensure projects are executed correctly
• Develop relationships that lead to referrals, repeat business, and long-term customers

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced salesperson—not necessarily someone with window treatment experience.

You may be a great fit if you have experience in:

• Consultative or in-home sales
• Remodeling or home improvement
• Construction or design
• Real estate
• Automotive sales
• Luxury retail sales
• Furniture or other high-ticket sales
• Another relationship-driven sales environment

More important than the industry you come from is how you sell.

We want someone who:

• Has a proven history of sales success
• Builds relationships rather than simply chasing transactions
• Is confident asking for the sale
• Can work independently without needing to be constantly managed
• Is highly organized and follows through on commitments
• Is comfortable learning and using technology
• Can confidently use an iPad and laptop during customer interactions
• Is coachable and committed to continuous improvement
• Takes ownership when things don't go as planned
• Wants to be part of a team—not just an individual producer
• Believes in doing business honestly and treating customers and coworkers with respect
