Senior Software Engineer - Identity

How you will contribute We are seeking a highly skilled, self‑directed Senior Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in AWS serverless services (or equivalent cloud platforms), strong proficiency in TypeScript, and a deep understanding of OAuth/OIDC and identity authentication flows. Exposure to AI technologies and skills is highly desirable. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high‑performance cloud‑native applications. Architect, develop, and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and related services (or equivalent on other cloud providers). Write clean, maintainable, and efficient TypeScript code for backend and integration services. Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM and related identity standards. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements. Work independently and take ownership of projects, driving them from concept to production with minimal supervision. Integrate and leverage AI technologies where appropriate to enhance product capabilities and development. Ensure best practices in cloud security, scalability, and reliability. Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack. Qualifications 5+ years of hands‑on experience with AWS serverless technologies (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.) or equivalent experience with another major cloud provider. Advanced proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js. Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, SCIM and modern identity authentication flows. Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., AWS CDK & Terraform). Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices. Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AI/ML technologies, frameworks, or cloud‑based AI services. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, and microservices architecture. Exposure to working with graph databases is a plus. Exposure to monitoring, logging, and observability tools in cloud environments. Compensation The base range for this role is $120,000–$135,000 depending upon level of experience.
