Role Overview The Procurement Lead is responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, ensuring the timely and cost‑effective acquisition of materials, goods, and services while supporting supply chain continuity. This role combines hands‑on procurement execution with strategic leadership by driving sourcing initiatives, supplier performance, procurement planning, and process optimization. The position serves as a key business owner for procurement‑related systems, leveraging ERP platforms, business intelligence tools, and data analytics to support informed decision‑making and operational excellence. The Procurement Lead partners closely with cross‑functional teams to improve procurement performance, strengthen supplier relationships, and advance continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic sourcing and purchasing activities, including supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order management, and procurement planning to ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved Manage supplier relationships and performance by conducting evaluations, resolving issues, identifying cost‑reduction opportunities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives Serve as the business owner for procurement‑related ERP processes and master data, ensuring data integrity while supporting system enhancements, testing, and process improvements Develop procurement dashboards, analyze supplier and purchasing data, and provide actionable insights to improve sourcing decisions, inventory performance, procurement KPIs, and cost optimization Provide functional leadership and collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and IT to align procurement strategies with business objectives and operational requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of progressive procurement experience, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and ERP-supported purchasing processes Demonstrated experience negotiating supplier agreements, managing procurement activities, and supporting supply chain continuity within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong analytical skills with experience using ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data‑driven decision‑making to improve procurement performance Ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives, mentor team members, and drive continuous process improvement Preferred Qualifications Supervisory or team lead experience within a procurement organization Experience supporting procurement and supply chain operations in a process manufacturing environment Experience with SAP ERP and Microsoft Power BI Familiarity with IFS ERP, ROSS ERP, or other enterprise resource planning systems Vibrantz is committed to protecting your privacy.
