You may also work directly with customers to resolve any account issues.Role ResponsibilitiesAddress and handle probates on deceased customer accounts received from family or executors of the estates. Handle and process the Bank of the West electronic correspondence. Process the damaged checks, voided checks, unprocessable checks, and letters sent from unprocessables. Prepare checks received from customers via mail to be processed and uploaded to banking and internal systems. Confirm the checks that were reviewed were accurate and that account numbers were correct. Process returned eChecks and paper checks. Research and locate the accounts for the failed Lockbox payments. Process Web Exceptions payments. Place equipment orders in web exceptions. Process all Bankruptcy Notices by entering the data on the notices onto the accounts to prevent billing. Research payments for Accounting. Process misapplied payments via faxes, ZenDesk, etc. Handle errors in ACI for electronic payments. Scan payments for BOW reconciliation. Process reports that will go to accounting. Be the expert in everything related to a chargeback. Assist with customer inquiries and complaints via phone or email. Evaluate all disputed claims to determine action needed and validity. Properly document credit inquiries, disputed claims, and credit advice. Blacklist cellular equipment due to chargeback status on account. Communicate with banking and credit card institutions. Identify patterns and trends in fraudulent activity and proactively communicate these trends to management. Process reports for accounting.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent. Self-motivated, hard-working team player with proven outstanding organizational skills and very detail oriented. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once. Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service. A highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction. Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers. Strong knowledge of cellular concepts, products, services, and policies within the cellular industry. Able to effectively communicate and conduct yourself in a professional manner with fellow co-workers and be flexible with different personalities. Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed. Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality.
