FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER (PART TIME)

Job Summary We are hiring immediately for part time FOOD SERVICE WORKER/CASHIER positions at 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92407. Schedule: Part‑time; hours and days may vary—details will be provided during the interview. Requirement: No experience is required. Willingness to be trained will be considered. Pay Range: $16.90 to $17.90 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform cashiering duties, including sales transactions, entering sales into the cash register, making change, accepting various payment methods, issuing receipts, and following procedures for cash refunds and short/overage compliance. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve complaints in a service‑oriented fashion. Prepare food by washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables; weigh and measure ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food between work stations, stove, and refrigerator per safety standards; distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Store foods in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils to maintain sanitation standards. Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety requirements. Use approved food recipes and production standards to achieve correct quality, serving temperatures, and portion control. Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining service area cleanliness. Re‑relays relevant information to supervisor and performs other duties as assigned.
