Float Receptionist

As a Float Receptionist, you'll support multiple CenterWell clinics in the North Augusta, SC and West Augusta, GA markets. You'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.

As a Float Receptionist, you'll:

• Provide front desk and administrative support across two locations: CenterWell North Augusta (326 E. Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841-4261) and CenterWell West Augusta (3435 Wrightsboro Rd, Suite 1202, Augusta, GA 30909-2518). Travel between locations is required based on business needs
• Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
• Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
• Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
• Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers, etc.
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving patient experiences and care.
• Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Value-based care model experience.
• Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)

Additional Information:

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$38,000 - $45,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
