As an LVN working 30 hours per week during regular school days, you’ll play a vital part in providing compassionate nursing care across an elementary district, with an emphasis on diabetic and asthma care. You’ll manage medication administration and address a wide range of school nursing responsibilities as an itinerant nurse, ensuring consistent health and wellness services for all students in your care.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Current and active California LVN license
• Background in pediatric nursing, with hands-on experience preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in diabetes management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across school teams
• Reliable transportation, as you will cover needs throughout the district

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide district-wide nursing support in elementary school settings
• Oversee safe medication administration and management according to health plans
• Promote best practices for diabetic and asthma care
• Work closely with educators, students, and families to create a safe, supportive environment
• Travel between schools as needed to respond to emerging health concerns

This role includes an hourly pay rate of $40-45, based on experience.
