Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist

Responsibilities Define and execute the material strategy, aligning supply resources with corporate objectives and product line priorities. Lead demand-supply planning with MRP tools; aggregate forecasts, assess purchase-material positions, and produce rough-cut capacity and production schedules. Optimize inventory across dependent and independent BOMs, adjusting supply requirements to balance service levels, working capital, and stock-out risk. Conduct make‑vs‑buy analysis and manage product phase-in, phase-out, manufacturing ramp‑up, and end‑of‑life transitions. Partner with sourcing, operations, and finance to synchronize inventory targets, resolve non‑standard part requirements, and mitigate critical-path procurements. Support long-term capacity and resource planning to accommodate new product introductions while maintaining efficient utilization of existing assets. Requirements A bachelor's degree and 5+ years of supply chain, contracts, subcontracts, procurement, logistics or other relevant experience. Experience with Costpoint or similar ERP system.
