Why You'll Love Working at Trail Ridge Senior Living Community Competitive pay of $18.00–$24.00 per hour , with credit given for experience Full-time schedule: 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, Monday–Friday Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of senior residents Supportive team environment where your skills and contributions are valued Prepare a variety of nutritious and resident-friendly meals Benefit-eligible position with a comprehensive benefits package Holiday work and weekend rotation required Hear back within 48 hours of applying What You'll Do As a Cook , you'll help prepare and serve high-quality meals while supporting the daily operations of the kitchen and creating a positive dining experience for our residents. Responsibilities include: Prepare meals according to established recipes, menus, and dietary requirements Prepare a variety of foods, including soups, sauces, baked goods, appetizers, and desserts Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule Follow proper food preparation, handling, and sanitation procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment Assist with inventory management, food preparation, and other daily kitchen operations Follow food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Work collaboratively with other culinary and senior living team members Help create an enjoyable dining experience for residents by preparing quality, appealing meals What You'll Need Must be 18 years of age or older At least 2 years of cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior services, or similar setting Experience with food preparation and handling Knowledge of recipes, cooking methods, and food safety practices Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player Must be willing to work holidays and participate in a weekend rotation Benefits Eligible employees enjoy access to: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match Life & AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance Supplemental Insurance, including Accident and Critical Illness Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Join a Team That Makes a Difference At Trail Ridge Senior Living Community, every team member contributes to creating a place where residents feel valued, comfortable, and cared for.
