Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surgical nursing, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver preoperative assessments and prepare patients for surgery.
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures using sterile techniques.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document surgical procedures, patient responses, and postoperative instructions.
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of general OR experience.
• Hold a valid NJ RN License and BLS certification.
• Preferred: CNOR certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency in surgical assisting and patient monitoring.
• Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
