Accounting Specialist

Fit is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Specialist to support the day-to-day financial and operational functions for a reputable company here in Mobile. This role is responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and maintaining accurate financial records. Salary is in the $50K - $60K range, DOE.

Duties:

• Support the company’s day-to-day accounting and administrative operations.
• Managing vendor payments, customer invoicing and collections, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Strong organizational skills, integrity, confidentiality and willing to wear multiple hats in a small office setting.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with payroll processing and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• QuickBooks experience
