Software Engineer - Asset Management Tech

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with at least 3 years of applied experience.
• We need strong expertise in Core Java, full-stack application development, object-oriented analysis and design, and REST APIs.
• We expect hands-on experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle, including system design, development, testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production support.
• We look for proven communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including collaborative work in agile teams and Scrum ceremonies.
• We require experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages and database query languages.
• We need experience writing and maintaining unit, functional, and integration tests.
• We expect experience with observability practices such as monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, and SLO/SLA management.
• We look for experience building event-driven systems and distributed architectures using messaging and streaming tools such as Kafka.
• We require experience integrating operational and investment data platforms through APIs, event streams, and data pipelines.
• We value familiarity with enterprise-authorized AI coding and automation tools used to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, with outputs validated through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
• We expect knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tooling, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities.

• We build strategic end-to-end platform capabilities for Fund Administration and Transfer Agency businesses.
• We design, develop, and deliver full-stack software solutions while breaking down complex technical challenges.
• We work directly with stakeholders and product owners to gather requirements, clarify scope, and align solutions with business goals.
• We participate in development planning, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, effort estimation, and technical roadmap definition.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes while maintaining secure coding, peer review, and automated testing standards.
• We apply Software Development Life Cycle tools and related practices in our day-to-day engineering work.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers work to support consistency and engineering standards.
• We identify opportunities to automate or remove recurring remediation tasks to improve application and system stability.
• We maintain clear documentation, including technical designs, architecture decisions, and runbooks, so knowledge remains accessible.
• We contribute to communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote modern tooling, patterns, and best practices.
