Electrician I
Seagrave Fire Apparatus
Job Summary: Electricians are responsible for electrical assembly and installation in addition to inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on the fire apparatuses. Electricians should have thorough knowledge of schematics, prints, and heavy duty automotive electrical systems. Responsibilities:

- Install and interconnect electrical devices
- Interpret drawings
- Program, set up, test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair simple electrical components and systems
- Modify sheet metal to allow for additional component installation
- Inspect mechanical assemblies to verify the fitting of electrical assemblies
