Our mission, Insuring Tomorrow Together, reflects our commitment to being a trusted brokerage, embracing innovation, and building a collaborative culture with our agency partners, customers, carriers, and communities.Key ResponsibilitiesProactively organize projects and tasks per guidance from President and Executive leadership to streamline successful flow of business for Programs & Brokerage departmentInitiate, facilitate and organize administrative tasks to achieve provided department and leadership objectivesDeliver exceptional, exclusive, high-touch service experience for high-profile wholesale commercial insurance accountsBuild existing and future relationships with brokersExecute all aspects of wholesale department servicing for the commercial insurance policy life cycle including:Servicing: Prospect engagement, quote preparation, binding, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, support for inspection documentation and claims records as neededAccounting support: Invoicing, collections, bordereaux records management, audit support, surplus lines tax data entryCompliance: Secure document management, revision and editing of custom applications, data retentionCommunication: Prompt, professional support for client and broker communications per guidance of PresidentAdditional Task SpecificationsReview submissions details and applications as necessitated for processing of new business and renewal quotesData entry as required for new or renewal quotes as directed by UnderwriterMonitor various reports for consistency, accuracy, and complianceAssist in document preparation for policy issuance and endorsement processing, including auditsSupport for accounting procedures such as invoicing and bordereaux recordsData entry using both excel and multiple internet-based platformsBackground & ExperienceHigh attention to detail is essential.Commercial insurance experience, wholesale preferred (2+ years)Excellent computer skills, technical proficiency, adept in new software learning as required by growth for this roleStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized, self-motivated, diligent self-starterAble to prioritize important and pressing tasks, and manage productivity in high-stress, tight-deadline environments when necessaryConflict resolution and problem-solving skills, focus on personal responsibilityWilling to take on challengesEffective team-player who is also able to manage time independentlyEducation:Bachelor's (Required)License/CertificationProperty & Casualty License (Required)Technical RequirementsMicrosoft Excel - Spreadsheets, Data Entry; Word – document conversion; Powerpoint – basic for presentation visual support as neededAdobe Acrobat - including Adobe Forms & Adobe Signature, custom forms editing and file managementApplied Epic – We use Applied Epic as our CRM platform. This is an insurance-specific CRM tool.
