Field Applications Specialist (Chrom/TFF Systems) Northeast

Sartorius seeks a Field Applications Specialist to support downstream processing technology implementation across the Northeast region. The role combines remote work with customer-facing responsibilities, providing technical expertise in chromatography and tangential flow filtration systems to accelerate therapy development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support customer evaluations and technical consultations on chromatography, TFF, and centrifugation systems
• Execute application trials, proof-of-concept studies, and customer training with structured documentation
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and product performance issues; coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders
• Capture customer feedback and competitive intelligence to inform portfolio enhancement initiatives
• Provide monthly territory activity reports and support Quality investigations and complaint resolution

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years in application support, technical support, or field applications within downstream processing or cGMP manufacturing
• 1+ years in-depth knowledge of biologics process development and monoclonal antibody scale-up
• Hands-on capability to perform demonstrations, trials, evaluations, and customer training
• Ability to troubleshoot technical challenges in customer environments
• Willingness to travel more than 50%; ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office

Compensation: $90,000-$116,530 base, plus sales incentive plan and car allowance
