Position Memory Care Support Partner – Full Time – Westlake, Ohio – Wage $18.00–$24.75 per hour. Shift Schedule: Week 1 Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday; Week 2 Monday/Saturday/Sunday. Hours: 7:00am–7:00pm. Responsibilities Advocate of Empathy: Create human connections with residents during vulnerable moments. Patient Observer: Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and unique qualities; collaborate to develop engagement plans and implement strategies with patience. Master of the Mise en Scène: Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines. Life Partner: Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from waking to sleeping. Excellent at documenting resident care and changes in condition. Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods. Qualifications Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents. Positive and energetic attitude toward residents. Computer skills sufficient to print documents and enter resident information. Physically active: capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day. Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and recovery after a fall. Criminally cleared.
